Claudio arrived in the United States in 1981 with only $20 in his pocket and without speaking a single word of English. Although he had been a successful car salesman in Argentina (his native country), upon arriving in Florida he had to do a wide variety of jobs to survive, working as a gardener, waiter or painter, to resume his career as a salesman shortly after at a West Palm Beach car dealer where he immediately become the best salesman. After going through different dealers, in 1990 he began working at Kendall Toyota in Miami and became the number one salesman, selling 50 cars in a single month. After a while he returned to Argentina and started some business there.
